  1. Ecology. The window beam in the manufacturing process does not lose any natural wood characteristics and remains 100% environmentally friendly. During the window assembly, the wood is glued, primed, and varnished with materials that consist only of natural components. Such treatment prevents rapid aging and deterioration of wood properties, which is inevitable when operating a window in difficult atmospheric conditions.
  2. Thermal insulation. Wood has been and remains the best thermal insulator, which has no analogs among the materials used in construction. The low level of thermal conductivity eliminates the possibility of window frame through-freezing, which means that the possibility of condensation is also excluded.
  3. Air exchange. Wood conducts a constant, natural air exchange and normalizes the room’s oxygen and humidity. Only wooden frames breathe. Air exchange occurs through the tiny pores of a living wooden structure.
  4. Noise insulation. Modern wooden windows made of glued laminated beams have increased noise insulation. Such windows are suitable even if an airfield or railway station is nearby. Today, the noise insulation parameter is 90% based on the double-glazed unit and the seal. Double-glazed windows are used in modern designs, which means a corresponding increase in noise insulation by several orders of magnitude compared to older designs.
  5. Fire resistance. Glued laminated beams have increased protection against fire. When the surface of the glued laminated beam is charred, a protective layer appears on it, which does not allow the combustion process to penetrate deep into the wooden structure quickly. Windows with fire-resistant glass can keep the fire from spreading for 1.5 hours. When wood burns, no toxic gases and acid vapors are emitted, as is the case when plastic burns.
  6. Durability. Modern designs and materials guarantee wooden windows’ reliability and long-term service life. No other material is as durable as wood in practice. Glued window beams can withstand temperature drops from -50 to +50 °C and are many times more durable than plastic. To date, the problems of durability and resistance of paints for wood have also been solved. Colors made based on water solvents are ultra-resistant and permeable to water vapor. They retain their original shade even after prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays.
